Working in Conflict: A faith based Toolkit for Islamic Relief

It is finally published!

I have been working on this for Islamic Relief for the past year, the whole toolkit or individual sections can be downloaded from the Islamic Relief Policy website, the direct page can be found here.

A faith-based toolkit developed for Islamic Relief on working in conflict and fragile environments. The toolkit outlines Islamic Relief policy founded on Islamic principles, and then (drawing on best practice across the peacebuilding sector) applies these to offer practical tools and approaches to aid and development projects in contexts of conflict and fragility.

While written for Islamic Relief staff, the toolkit is equally useful for other agencies working with Muslim communities experiencing conflict and violence. To this end the toolkit includes an introductory section for non-Muslim agencies who wish to draw on the toolkit for their own activities.
